Non-Discrimination & Respectful Conduct Policy
Our Commitment
EAA Chapter 509 is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members, volunteers, guests, youth participants, speakers, and visitors. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, or retaliation based on any characteristic protected by applicable law.
This policy applies to all Chapter 509 meetings, events, programs, volunteer activities, and chapter-sponsored functions.
Expected Conduct
All participants are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect, contribute to a welcoming environment, and conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on EAA Chapter 509.
Reporting & Review
Anyone who experiences or witnesses conduct that may violate this policy is encouraged to report the concern to the Chapter President or any member of the Board of Directors.
The Board will review all concerns fairly and objectively, gather information as appropriate, and determine whether this policy has been violated. Reports will be handled as discreetly as practical.
Corrective Action
If a violation is found, the Board may take appropriate action based on the circumstances. This may include a conversation, verbal or written warning, removal from an event, suspension from chapter activities, or other action deemed appropriate by the Board.
Our Goal
This policy is intended to ensure that everyone participating in EAA Chapter 509 activities can do so in an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and free from discrimination and harassment.
Adopted by the EAA Chapter 509 Board of Directors on July 3, 2026.
